Before the Fireworks

Salute from the Shore
Before any of the fireworks begin, the annual Salute from the Shore takes place, which is a military flyover of the South Carolina coast to be flown July 4th featuring a dozen or more vintage aircraft. Spectators along the South Carolina coast wear red, white, and blue to show their support for the armed services while saluting our nation’s military. The flyover begins around 1pm and will fly south over every beach in South Carolina. So if you are on a beach between 1-2pm, you should definitely see it! Where to see 4th of July Fireworks in Myrtle Beach, SC

Broadway at the Beach
The 4th of July Fireworks located at Broadway at the Beach over Lake Broadway takes place at 10pm on July 4th. Broadway at the Beach features tons of restaurants, shops, and great things to do making this a great location to spend the day and cap it out with the 4th of July fireworks!

Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade and Fireworks
The annual boat parade begins at 10am at Garden City Point and typically has over 100 boats! The Murrells Inlet fireworks is scheduled to take place at 10 p.m. on July 4, 2015. Spectators can view the fireworks display from the many vantage points along the marsh shoreline, including the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Belin Methodist Church, the Jetty View Walk & Morse Park Landing next to the Hot Fish Club and the Marlin Quay Marina area.

Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration
Free entertainment at the Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration kicks off at 6pm on July 4th in the Surfside Beach Pier. The celebration ends with a fantastic fireworks display from the pier at 10pm, making this another great place to bring beach chairs and watch fireworks from the beach!

North Myrtle Beach Fireworks
The Annual Fireworks display at The Cherry Grove Fishing Pier begins around 9:00 – 9:15pm on July 4th in North Myrtle Beach, SC. The pier is located at 3500 N. Ocean Blvd. in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach.

Also in North Myrtle Beach is the 4th of July fireworks at Barefoot Landing over the lake, which will take place at 10:15pm.

  1. Wednesday, July 04 2012, 9:30pm - 10:00pm Hits : 14229 The 19th Annual Fireworks display at The Cherry Grove Fishing Pier is scheduled for 9:30 pm on Wednesday, July 4th. The pier is located at 3500 N. Ocean Blvd. in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. The Pier spans ¼ mile off of the coastal shore, adjacent to the Prince Resort. This makes for a beautiful display and along with the other activities, this event is certainly a memorable evening for the entire family.
