During your trip to Myrtle Beach, do yourself a favor and venture to The Market Common and find Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Cafe. Numerous diners who have tried this restaurant boldly declare that they have found their new favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC. From the service to the absolutely delicious food, Tommy Bahama’s is quickly establishing itself as one of the best restaurants in the Myrtle Beach Area.

The Market Common presents one of the newest designs in modern urban village communities as a self-contained full-service community that consists of various elements of a small town. In addition to restaurants, shopping and entertainment, this complex also hosts permanent residences, rentals and business office space. Tommy Bahama’s Tropical Cafe is a great addition to The Market Common with its casual upscale dining.

The great attraction to this eatery begins with a charming atmosphere dedicated to an eclectic British Colonial, Tropical Island décor. Their motto is “life is one long weekend.” This is the feeling they attempt to impart on their customers through the atmosphere, their friendly and professional service and the delectable dishes and drinks that are served. Their award winning Tommy’s World Famous Coconut Shrimp is their most popular dish and the scrumptious Pina Colada Cake seems to be the favored dessert choice among discerning diners.

Fresh bread with cinnamon butter makes a great start to the meal while waiting for one of the many tempting appetizers to be served. The Little Cayman Lollipops are quite popular and tasty. These chicken drumettes are smoke grilled with a delicious mango barbeque sauce. Of course there is the famous Coconut Shrimp we already mentioned, and the Crab Calloway, which is crab cakes with a light coconut crust and sweet chili mustard sauce. The inventive and fun South Seas Scallop Sliders are jumbo sea scallops sauteed and served in mini buns. Antigua Quesadillas are extremely enticing with asparagus spears, spiced Monterey Jack and goat cheeses served in flour tortillas. For those who prefer to wet their appetite with a soothing and warm soup, the Cooper Island Crab Bisque is outstanding and the Tortola Tortilla Soup with grilled chicken sounds tempting.

For a lighter meal, the sandwich and entree salad menu offers some flavorful selections that range in prices from $10-$16. The Saba Steak Salad with grilled tenderloin, mixed greens and grilled potatoes is a favorite, along with the Tahitian Tuna Salad with blackened seared Ahi tuna, spinach, arugula and carrots. Tommy’s Great Big Crispy Fish Sandwich is huge with crispy beer battered white fish. It gets wonderful reviews, as do the Cabo Tacos with grilled or blackened white fish. Even the simple fare has extra special touches that make this food stand out from its competition as shown by the Gulf Coast Grilled Cheese with tiger shrimp and a spectacular tasting Paradise Nation Cheeseburger.

The entree menu provides a nice variety to suit all tastes with seared tuna, roasted or stuffed chicken, flat iron steak, snapper, pasta, shrimp, scallops, tenderloin filet and even barbeque ribs. The ribs are glazed with Tommy’s blackberry brandy barbeque sauce and shrimp is served sauteed with Caribbean spices or accompanied by scallops and curry coconut sauce. The snapper dish has a light macadamia nut crust and the juicy tenderloin filet is topped with a port wine sauce, roasted garlic and blue cheese. The portions are rather large, usually more than enough for one person. From the appetizer to the entree and then the dessert, the choices are scrumptious.

Be sure to save room for dessert or take one with you to enjoy later once your dinner has had time to digest. In addition to the moist Pina Colada Cake with rum, pineapple, white chocolate mousse and toasted coconut, you might want to try the chocolate espresso cake or Tommy’s version of key lime pie. Then there’s Blackbeard’s Butterscotch and the Barbados Brownie that are both served with a mouth watering made-from-scratch caramel sauce.

As you have probably experienced, it can get a bit expensive to have a full course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree and dessert. To help solve this dilemma, Tommy’s has put together a special menu that they call the Tommy Bahama Tasting Menu. For the reasonable price of about $30, diners receive a three course meal that consists of an appetizer, entree and a dessert. For the appetizer, guests get to choose one of three combos that include either a soup and salad, goat cheese and lollipops or the crab cake and tuna with guacamole and flat bread. The entree choices of chicken, seafood or beef include the Freeport Flat Iron, Sanibel Stuffed Chicken and the Shoal Bay Snapper. Three of the most favored desserts are offered with the Pina Colada Cake, Key Lime Pie and the Barbados Brownie with ice cream. For one great price, guests can experience a wonderful three course meal with some of the best choices from the regular menu.

The great thing about Tommy Bahama’s is that those guests who return time after time do so for a good reason. The food is consistently wonderful. A restaurant that serves high quality and tasty food, time after time, deserves its reputation as a top rated restaurant. Many visitors to Tommy Bahama’s declare it as the very best in Myrtle Beach dining.

Live music is a huge attraction for many who come to Tommy’s. Nightly beginning at 6:30 pm, guests are invited to enjoy island tropical style music that sets the mood for the evening. This serves to add greatly to the overall elegant Caribbean island ambiance of this terrific restaurant. In addition to the tranquil indoor environment, there is also an outdoor patio for relaxing dining when weather permits.

Though this is a wonderful restaurant for grown ups to relax and enjoy themselves, kids of all ages like it as well. For the young ones, there is a nice kids menu with a variety of favorites that include spaghetti, mac & cheese, hot dogs, burger sliders and chicken fingers. They even have filet medallions for the more discriminating youthful tastes, along with chicken quesadillas and grilled chicken salad. Prices on the kids menu are very reasonable at $7-8 and the filet at $15. Though the wait for food is a bit slow on some nights, it’s definitely worth it to experience the delightful dishes.

We have to mention the Bungalow Bar with their terrific selection of beer, wine, rum, martinis and and specialty drinks. Tommy Bahama’s has their own rums which are the Tommy Bahama White Sand and Golden Sun. Their drink menu offers specialty drinks using Tommy’s rums as well as a very nice assortment of rums from various locations around the world such as Jamaica, Haiti, Brazil and Anguilla. Those who prefer a refreshing martini can choose from appetizing choices like the Flip Flop Orange Drop, Isle Take Manhattan, Hav-an-a Key Lime and Tommy’s Classic Vodka Martini. Many guests look to the Tommy’s Classics when choosing their drinks with exciting options ranging from the Bahama Mama and Hurricane Tommy to the Millionaire’s Mai Tai and the Baja Margarita. The Sangria and the Mojito have been claimed by many to be some of the best they have ever tasted. Tommy Bahama’s own Bungalow Brew and Blonds Beers are must tries for beer aficionados. Island Time is the catchy name for their Happy Hour that attracts many regulars and visitors to enjoy reduced priced drinks and appetizers at the bar.

Reservations are suggested at Tommy Bahama’s especially during the peak season. They do have semi-private dining to accommodate large groups up to 50 making it great for family and friend reunions and business meetings. They open daily at 11 am for lunch and remain ready to serve until 11 pm Sunday through Thursday and 12 midnight on weekends.

Get details for Flynn's Irish Tavern in Myrtle Beach, SC and see why this Myrtle Beach restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Flynn’s Irish Tavern in Myrtle Beach, SC has made good use of old space by establishing its business in North Myrtle Beach’s old jail. This makes a really interesting facility for a favorite pub for many locals and regular visitors to the area. Tours of the former jail cells are even given upon request for those who may be interested in seeing them. The tavern is a family owned operation in which the Flynn family takes great pride. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, once you walk in you’ll be welcomed by an atmosphere that is reflective of Marty Flynn’s memories of his home in Ireland.

Prices at Flynn’s are amazing for a tourist town and the servings are very ample. You definitely get a lot for your money here with the most expensive item on the menu being only $16.95. The weekly specials always draw crowds when their favorite dish comes up. Monday offers a fabulous All You Can Eat Roast Beef, Tuesday is Lemon Pepper Pork Chops and Wednesday brings on the Irish tradition of Corned Beef & Cabbage that is said to be terrific.

Their regular menu features a nice variety of tempting selections starting with grilled steaks and pork chops. The Seafood portion of the menu ranges from $13.95-$15.95. Some of the favorites here seem to be the Barbequed Salmon and Potato Crusted Grouper. Other choices are shrimp, salmon and cod fish prepared several different ways. Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, Liver and Onions and Hamburger Steak are in their Tavern Favorites section. The Fish and Chips and the Guinness Stew come very highly recommended. They wrap up the menu with their list of burgers and sandwiches. The burgers can be ordered classic style or with added American, Swiss or Bleu cheeses, mushrooms and bacon. The Bully Boy, Reuben and Hot Corned Beef Sandwiches are spectacular. Kids will love the Chicken Fingers and Grilled Cheese.

Soups and salads range in prices from only $2.95 to $4.95 with cheesy crocks of Irish Onion and Irish Potato soups, a house salad and the She Crab soup that attracts many regular customers. The appetizers, priced at $5-8 start with the expected Mozzarella Sticks and Chicken Wings and move on to Crab Dip, Smoked Salmon and Bruschetta. Two of the most popular appetizers are the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and Flynn’s Chips loaded with Bleu Cheese and Bacon. Yummy! Such delicious food and great prices. Some other favorites that guests to Flynn’s rave over are the Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, the hand cut fries, mashed potatoes with horseradish and the wonderful homemade Bread Pudding. Other desserts are the Chocolate Bliss, Banana Cream Pie and the Eclair Pie. No wonder Flynn’s Irish Tavern is loved by so many. Business at Flynn’s begins at 4 pm Monday through Saturday.

The service and staff at Flynn’s is great and the owners, Marty and Jane, love to visit and talk with guests while sharing some of the history of the restaurant. Set in a true Irish pub atmosphere with locale music playing in the background, this is a great place to sit back and appreciate the food, ambiance and company. Saturday night is the time to enjoy live Irish music that really sets the mood. If the crowds aren’t too large, you may even get the chance for a dance or two.

The restaurant and bar areas of Flynn’s are in the same building but are separated, so the restaurant has a great family atmosphere and kids are certainly welcome to come and enjoy a taste of the Irish. The small veranda offers a serene atmosphere right outside the bar area for a meal in the pleasant outdoors that is especially nice when the rose garden is in bloom.

A visit to the bar is always a great way to finish off the evening with a spirit of the Irish. Flynn’s is well known for the high quality of their extremely fresh tasting Guinness that is served at exactly the right temperature between 39 and 44 degrees. They don’t just pour “The Perfect Pint” of Guinness, they build it. They start with the right type of tall glass that is held at a 45 degree angle to be filled ¾ full with a fully open spout. Then they let the stout settle while the creamy head separates from the dark body of the brew. Once the Guinness has set, it it filled until it all rises to the top with never an overflow. As you can see, great pains are taken to serve their Guinness just as it was meant to be. Though it takes a little longer, glass after glass prove this method to be perfect.

Flynn’s has a very impressive selection of 31 different Irish Whiskeys that can be enjoyed on their own or in one of their wonderful secret recipe Irish Coffees. The John Powers Gold Label Irish coffee, the Hot Bunratty Meade and the Tullamore Dew are all recommended. Some other favored choices are Smithwicks, Black & Tan, Snakebite, Half & Half and Blacksmith. They also have a range of gin, rum, vodka, brandy, tequila, whiskey and scotch offerings. Happy Hour is from 4-7 pm Monday through Friday.

You’ll find that Flynn’s Irish Tavern in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is not a tourist trap in a tourist city, it’s just a tried and true restaurant with great service and wonderful food. Its genuine Irish heritage adds the real feel and taste of an authentic Irish Pub that ranks up there with the best. They have earned a superior reputation as one of the very best places to eat and relax in all of the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. It’s not unusual for visitors to Myrtle to come to Flynn’s 2-3 nights during their stay in the area because of the outstanding experience from start to finish.

Get details for Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine in Myrtle Beach, SC and see why this Myrtle Beach restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Fans of authentic Ethiopian fare are ecstatic that Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine restaurant has opened in Myrtle Beach. Not only do they finally have access to this wonderful style of cooking, but the food more than exceeds expectations in quality, taste and even healthiness. Those who have eaten at some of the best Ethiopian culinary establishments in areas such as New York City say that Redi-et is as good if not better! This is an exciting addition to the dining options along the Grand Strand and it is the first authentic Ethiopian cuisine restaurant in South Carolina.

The owner of Redi-et is Sara. She came to Myrtle Beach with years of restaurant operation experience from her native home of Ethiopia. Upon her arrival in the Grand Strand, Sara noticed the lack of ethnic food and the total absence of her native cuisine. Her goal is to provide healthy Ethiopian choices with authenticity, excellent taste and service worthy of her customers. She does a great job of this, starting with making all the dishes herself from scratch.

Each of the dishes is served with a traditional Ethiopian bread known as Injera. This spongy bread, shaped much like a large pancake or flat bread, is made of teff, a high calcium grain that is also rich in fiber, protein and carbohydrates. One of the nicest pleasures of an Ethiopian meal is the display of fresh and colorful vegetables on top of the bed of Injera that welcomes diners with a beautiful presentation.

They have a large vegetarian menu with some delicious choices. Those who prefer meat as a part of their meal will also be pleased with great options that include beef, chicken and lamb. The long standing practice for eating Ethiopian food is by using the fingers of the right hand. Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine encourages guests to follow this method by simply scooping up portions of food onto the Injera and eating it from the bread. Sara and her staff are more than happy to assist customers in choosing the dinner that suits their tastes from the vegetarian or meat choices to the mild, moderate and hot spices.

The three appetizer choices are wonderfully priced at only about $3 each. They include Shorba which is a delicious homemade vegetarian soup with potatoes, onions, carrots, tomato, garlic, ginger root and rice. The Salata, or salad, is tossed with homemade dressing and served with Injera. Timatim Fitfit takes bits of Injera and mixes it with fresh vegetables of tomato, green peppers, onions and fresh lemon juice.

The vegetarian dishes are guaranteed to be 100% vegan for those who follow this diet style. They come with two sides that are chosen from among the other vegetarian dishes which allows guests to try a variety. The Misir Wat has red lentils cooked with garlic, ginger root, onions and spices. The red chili pepper in this dish puts it in the spicy hot category. Cabbage Wat is a vegetable stew and Gomen has fresh collard greens with onions, garlic, ginger root and wonderful spices. The Shiro Wat has a medium heat level with sun dried peas and beans that are ground and cooked with red chili pepper. Many of us enjoy tasting several dishes when trying cuisine that is new to us. The Vegetarian Platter allows guests to do just that by choosing any three of the entrees. The more varied Vegetarian Sampler offers small portions of all the vegetarian entrees.

The Beef and Lamb meals come with two sides of Selata and a House Veggie-Mix. Those guests who prefer beef can have the stew of Kei Siga Wat or Minchet Abish with mixtures of ingredients like ginger, tomatoes, onions, spiced Ethiopian butter and spicy hot red chili pepper. The delicious Zilzil Tibs has marinated beef strips. Lamb options consist of two types of stew, one that has hot spices and other mild. The chicken entree is served with either the Selata or Veggie-Mix and Ayeb. Ayeb is a homemade fresh and crumbly cottage cheese that balances out the heat and flavor of the spicy dishes. For those who enjoy their food extra hot and spicy, ask for the Berbere, which is simply a homemade mixture of hot spices to add to the heat of your meal.

Once you order your food, bread with clarified butter and spices will be served. Try not to fill up on this tasty appetizer before you start on the main part of your meal. If you like coffee at all, be sure to end the meal with the Ethiopian Coffee that is said to be absolutely wonderful, much better than our most popular American brands. It is served fresh with a superb flavor and is presented in a very charming manner. The coffee is a soothing completion to a spectacular meal.

The portions are generous and the prices are pleasing. Entrees range from $7.50 to $9.95. Only the lamb dishes exceed that price at $11.45. In order to accommodate the kids and picky eaters, Redi-et does have hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, onion rings and chips. Those sound especially boring and ordinary after the superb Ethiopian cuisine menu!

Redi-et Ethiopian Cuisine is closed on Mondays so make your plans to visit Tuesday through Sunday. They open for lunch each day at noon, except Sunday which is 12:30. Closing is at 9:30 pm daily, with 9:00 on Sunday.

Redi-et began its business at an out of the way location on Dick Pond Road in Surfside next to Baskin & Robbins. Those who found it usually did so by the hand made signs on the highway directing them to “Ethiopian Food.” As of the end of October, 2009, that location closed as Sara and her crew worked to reopen the restaurant in November at a more convenient location at 746 Main Street in Myrtle Beach.

Let all your friends and family know about this unique and excellent restaurant to help Sara get the word out to all of Myrtle Beach and the 65-mile Grand Strand. You’ll love everything about Redi-et from the unusual breads, tasty thick stews and vegetarian options to the wonderful hospitality and service. Freshness, quality and authenticity simply exude from all the foods. We have yet to find any comments or reviews about this culinary adventure that are less than exemplary. Bring everyone with you, young and old, to take part in a new and interesting dining experience while sharing in the culture of Sara’s Ethiopian home.

Get insider details on the Salt Creek Cafe in Myrtle Beach, SC. Find out the what the best dishes are and other great tips. See why Salt Creek Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!

If you end up near the Murrell’s Inlet area of the Grand Strand to visit the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens or Huntington Beach State Park, plan on having lunch or dinner at Salt Creek Cafe, just three miles north. This restaurant is family owned and operated by Keith and Wendy Wolff who have done a great job of creating a wonderful upscale casual dining locale. The Salt Creek Cafe is located in the Waccamaw Oaks shopping plaza and they invite guests of all ages to stop in and enjoy a top-notch dining experience. Just look for the building with the cedar shake roof and wood siding sitting under a huge oak tree. The full menu is served the entire day, so whether you want your larger meal of the day at lunch or just a sandwich for dinner, order what you like.

Salt Creek Cafe is very impressive as they have found just the right combination of service, menu options and charm. They have such an interesting menu with the delightful mix of choices that allows everyone to find something they like without being overwhelmed. Though menus are always subject to change somewhat, let’s take a look at a typical menu at Salt Creek. The appetizers make it really hard to pass by and move straight to the entrees. You want to at least share one or two with your party so you don’t miss out on these specialties. The Salt Creek Grits is a shrimp and grits dish with their special Creek Gravy. Homemade Potato Chips with chive dip can be enjoyed plain or jazzed up by adding cheese and bacon over the top. Mozzarella Stix are homemade and the Cluck Cluck is an inventive fried chicken liver plate with grits and creek gravy. Wow! Oyster Shooters with a splash of vodka, Fried Oysters, Steamed Artichoke or Cheesy Nachos, it’s hard to choose! The tender Calamari served with a Thai Chili Sauce, Soup of the Day and the Portabello & Zucchini Fries with a Horseradish Dipping Sauce round out these delectable choices. It would be so easy to make a meal out of the appetizers.

The Sandwiches Menu is very popular at lunch time with quite a few fantastic selections. The Blue Moo Sandwich is flat iron steak with bleu cheese and carmelized onions. The Fresh Salmon Sandwich can be ordered blackened or grilled and the Po’ Boys come with shrimp or oysters. Try the Salt Creek Hamburger served on an English muffin with Gouda cheese, the Chicken Sandwich blackened or grilled on a toasty French roll or the Chicken Feta Wrap of grilled chicken and feta with spinach and tomatoes rolled together. Hearty appetites love the Meatloaf or Prime Rib Sandwich. Then there’s the Thai Steak Wrap, Fried Chicken Spinach Wrap and even a unique Turkey and Stuffing Sandwich reminiscent of the holidays.

The Other Good Stuff menu offers about eight pizza options from typical cheese or pepperoni to the more inventive chicken spinach, buffalo chicken, pesto or BBQ chicken. The Mushroom Pizza has a mixture of three types of gourmet mushrooms, Portabello, Shitake and Cremini, with an Alfredo sauce. The Homemade Chicken Fingers and Quesadillas are wonderful too. Mac n’ Cheese comes with bacon and ham and can be a meal in itself. One of the most popular menu items is the Fish Tacos served Baja or Grilled style with black beans and rice. There is a nice Salads Menu that includes the fabulous Cobb Salad filled with turkey, ham, eggs, jack cheese, tomato, apples, broccoli, cucumbers and carrots. What a refreshing and wholesome meal to enjoy while on vacation. Also offered are the Spinach, Hail Caesar, Classic Caesar and Creek’s House Salads filled with healthy ingredients. Additional toppings such as grilled or blackened salmon, chicken, shrimp and fried oysters can be added to these salads making them anything but boring.

And finally, we get to the Entrees Menu that starts with a provocative chicken assortment. Creek Chicken with honey mustard and bacon, Mushroom & Chicken Fettuccini in a garlic wine sauce, and the “Manga!” Chicken that is stuffed with ricotta, Parmesan and mozzarella topped with Alfredo and marinara over fettuccini. You can even have a Thanksgiving Dinner with the trimmings, Cuban Pork, an 18-ounce Ribeye, 9-ounce Filet Mignon, Prime Rib or the Bleu Moo. Seafood lovers will be drawn to the Crab Cakes, Salmon and Fish of the Day served blackened or grilled with delicate basmati rice and fresh vegetables. The Surf and Turf combines the best of both worlds with a 3-ounce filet combined with shrimp. All of these tantalizing entrees are served with either a salad or cup of soup. They also have a Blue Light Special each day of the week that are served until they’re gone. Saturdays are great with fresh lobster, Tuesdays have a rack of ribs, Monday is fried chicken, delicious Thursday is Prime Rib and laid back Wednesday has pizzas and draft. Look out for fish & chips on Friday or beef liver on Sunday.

Though everyone’s appetites will probably be more than satisfied by this point, let’s don’t forget dessert. Homemade Key Lime Pie, Ana Banana Pudding with pecan sandies and whipped cream or the Milky Way Brownie with super duper ultra chocolate, ice cream and whipped cream. Cookie Slop is such a terrific name for layers of chocolate pudding, whipped cream and chocolate chip cookies all “slopped” together. You might just have to take one of these with you to savor later. And if you don’t like to share, pick up two or three to take back to your hotel or condo.

They do welcome children at Salt Creek Cafe. There’s a special menu just for them that will satisfy the young tastes with Chicken Fingers & Mozzarella Stix with Fries, Cheese Quesadilla, Shrimp & Fries or Corn Dog n’ Fries all served with a drink and ice cream.

Sample the wine menu to accompany your meal or indulge in one of their inspired mixed drinks. Gin Grape Splash is one they say you should try even you don’t like Gin. It is combined with white grape juice, sprite and grapes. Pink is a citrus vodka refresher with cranberry juice and a splash of lemonade. Limoncello is a home brewed classic Italian liquor, while Flying Palmer Lemonade is a firefly sweet tea vodka. The infused rum and vodka martini is called Lolo and they have another vodka mixture named Jersey Shore Cherry Lemonade.

Brunch at the Salt Creek Cafe is an inviting occasion on Saturday and Sunday. Many love to get this mid-morning meal started with the $3 Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Kir Royal or Poinsettia drinks. Most of the brunch meals are served with sides of fresh fruit and grits with Creek gravy. What could be better than the Lobster Omelet with asparagus and jack cheese. Eggs Benedict with poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce can also be combined with Crab Cake or Filet Mignon. The Ham, Bacon & Cheese Omelet, Salt Creek Egg Breakfast or the Stuffer French Toast with strawberry preserves, cream cheese and bananas sound absolutely wonderful. What a way to spend the morning enjoying a luscious meal. Kids will like the scrambled eggs or French toast sticks. Guests look forward to the sweet bowl of cinnamon hush puppies to snack on while waiting for brunch to be served.

The inviting dining room has a welcomed spaciousness with ample seating, along with an outdoor patio that dwells under the live oak tree. The décor produces a cheerful and relaxing atmosphere with its enlarged sepia-toned surf photographs taken by a family friend. The interesting selection of attractive mirrors and the salt water fish tank reflect the local seaside environment in a casual and classy manner.

Salt Creek does recommend reservations, especially for large groups, but they’re not required. And don’t let the classy menu fool you, the prices are extremely reasonable. Many visitors come in expecting to pay extravagant prices and are pleasantly surprised to find the meals nicely priced. Have a great lunch for about $8-12 or a leisurely dinner entree for around $15-20.

Their menu is delightful and fun with an excellent selection of tempting choices. They manage to create a superb potpourri of imaginative, flavorful and appealing foods while still offering healthier options. Repeatedly, the food at the Cafe is described by customers with words such as fresh, quality, excellent tasty, healthy, refreshing and a welcome change from the typical beach restaurants and endless menus of predictable fried foods. While guests may use many different words to describe the Salt Creek Cafe, the message is always the same. Simply put, this is a fantastic restaurant near Myrtle Beach that provides excellent service and hospitality with out of this world food in a fabulous array of choices and at a great price. It leaves all who dine here with the desire to return for more.

Many Myrtle Beach restaurants have been described as “the best kept secret” but Luigi’s Trattoria in Myrtle Beach, SC appears to truly fit that category. It’s hidden away on 61st Avenue North and can be a little hard to find, but it’s worth finding your way to Luigi’s to sample their authentic Italian food that is good enough to compare to the best New York Italian restaurants and even to those in their homeland. The family that owns and operates Luigi’s are true Italians. They make their food homemade, serve their customers with pride and provide exceptional Italian hospitality. And they do all this for very reasonable prices.

The dining room is lovely with its Italian decor and they have a pleasant patio for guests to dine when the weather is nice. Their dining choices range from the traditional Italian favorites to the more complex regular menu items, and then to the daily house specials that tantalize the most discriminating tastes. You will probably notice as you dine at Luigi’s that many of the customers are locals who know the Italian owners my name. Again, a true sign of a great restaurant; the locals know which places are the best.

Dinner will begin with delightful fresh bread or bruschetta accompanied by olive oil with chopped garlic, herbs and pepper flakes. Their hot appetizers include tender and delicious Fried Calamari, mouth watering Stuffed Mushrooms, Baked Clams, Mussels and a very nice Hot Antipasto. They also offer a cold antipasto and Mozzarella Caprese, which is a sumptuous tomato and mozzarella salad that exudes freshness.

One of the most impressive choices on the Pasta Menu is their homemade Gnocchi that guests exclaim as fabulous. For those not familiar with Gnocchi, it is a thick and soft dumpling. There are many ways to make Gnocchi and it is not an easy dish to master. Those who do, are the truly exceptional cooks with just the right touch in creating outstanding authentic Italian fare. At Luigi’s, that is what you can expect. The fresh Ravioli comes in your choice of Cheese, Spinach or Lobster and is again sure to be some of the best ravioli you have ever tasted. Just the right ingredients and techniques are put into making these homespun delicacies. Alfredo Fettucini, Spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, Manicotti and Rigatoni are all popular pasta dishes at Luigi’s.

In the seafood section of the menu, tempting selections await those who favor fresh items from the sea. Try the Calamari with spaghetti, Shrimp Scampi, Spaghetti with Shrimp and Clams, Red or White Clam Sauce over Pasta, Shrimp Parmesana, Fresh Mussels or enjoy the Seafood Combination plate to sample a delicious variety. Shrimp Fra Diavolo is a scrumptious choice that renders beautifully cooked shrimp in a light tomato and wine sauce with just the right combination of tantalizing spices.

Take a good look at the House Specials when you dine at Luigi’s Trattoria as they do offer some outstanding specialized dishes. Their veal is tender and absolutely fantastic. They change up their veal specials and if they don’t offer it the day you dine, feel free to ask if it is available. Also, the Grouper Florentine and Eggplant Parmesan are some of their other marvelous creations.

They offer delectable soups and salads with homemade dressings to begin the dining experience and a variety of sandwiches for a lighter lunch or dinner. The tomato sauce at Luigi’s is made by hand and receives great acclaim with its fresh and brilliant flavor, some of the very best! They offer a very nice wine list to go along with the meal. Luigi’s also has terrific pizza for an easy lunch or simple dinner. The pizza, like the rest of their food, is some of the best. The crust is unflappable with just the right touch of crispness. Go for the basic cheese pizza with the wonderful sauce to savor the individual flavors or add your favorite toppings. For dessert, don’t pass on the authentic Tiramisu or the Cannoli. If you’re too full after enjoying your generous meal, you’ll want to take a dessert with you to try later.

Luigi’s Trattoria is next to a residential neighborhood right off Business Route 17 in Myrtle Beach. One customer mentions a very distinct landmark to help find the restaurant more easily. Just look for the very Pink ice cream parlor that you can’t miss and Luigi’s is right behind it. They are open for lunch and dinner with customers looking forward to both meal times with zeal.

For authentic homemade Italian food that is absolutely awesome and hard to beat, fantastic service and hospitality, generous size portions and very acceptable prices, put Luigi’s Trattoria on your list of must-do’s for Myrtle Beach. This is a place you’ll want to visit during the early part of your stay just so you’ll have time to come back a second and maybe even a third time.
Get details on the Carolina Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC and see why this great steakhouse is one of the best restaurants in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Though there are quite a few steakhouses in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and everyone has their favorites, there are just a few select ones that always stand out among the rest. Carolina Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC is among those elite that have many Grand Strand visitors making a point of always stopping by at least once or twice when they are anywhere near by.

Guests are charmed as soon as they walk in by the eye catching architecture and atmosphere with open beam ceilings. The ambiance has been described as an expansive meeting between the log cabin and ski lodge. A special feature to the restaurant is the wide open kitchen that allows diners to enjoy the activities involved in the preparation of the highly approved food.

With the large size of the structure, seating is plentiful and guests are usually seated in a rather prompt manner considering the size of the crowds that are drawn here. Many guests report having surprisingly short waits even when things are very busy. However, it’s a great idea to take advantage of the Call Ahead service that allows your party to receive more expeditious seating, especially during the busy season. It could be the difference between waiting 10-15 minutes as compared to 45-60.

Though the Carolina Roadhouse has a nice menu with plenty choices, it quickly becomes evident that there are many definite favorites among their customers. Top USDA choice Midwestern beef that is aged at least 30 days, ranks at the top of the list with thick and tender strips, filets, sirloin and tenderloin. Cooked to perfection just as you like, the steaks are prepared with a charred crusty exterior while remaining juicy and flavorful. The 11-ounce Marinated Sirloin Steak is infused for 48 hours and has an excellent and distinct taste, while the 10-ounce delectable Filet Mignon is in very high demand. The consensus among diners at Carolina Roadhouse is that the House Special of Prime Rib is some of the best they have ever eaten. It is slow cooked, tender, absolutely delicious and comes in your choice of 12 or 18-ounces and is great to share between two people.

Their ribs are quite famous and are described as delicious fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of sauce. Extra sauce that is light with a pleasantly sweet taste is available for those who prefer a bit more. The Danish Baby Back Rack is $18.50 and the Double Rack Order is only six dollars more at $24.50. The slow roasted Giant BBQ Beef Rib is $19.95.

It’s a rare occasion that a simple House Salad is an item worthy of serious discussion. But at the Roadhouse, it is somewhat of an event and they’re not stingy with the ingredients. They start with fresh salad greens, then load it with chopped eggs, tomatoes, almonds, bacon and ham. Add to that their famous hot honey mustard house dressing and you can almost make a meal. Their ranch, balsamic and bleu cheese dressing are also wonderful. The salad is accompanied by their spectacular croissants with a light honey butter glaze. They come with the salad and with most meals and are so loved by guests that they have put it on the appetizer menu. Who ever heard of a Basket of Croissants as an appetizer? But they come out of the kitchen on a regular basis, basket after basket. These delectable delicacies are baked fresh right at the restaurant.

If you get an appetizer, consider the splendid Baked Potato Soup, a bowl of Chili, the tender Fried Pacific Calamari or the Chili Cheese Fries. Some of the best side dishes are the Loaded Baked Potato, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Steamed Spinach. The French Fries are really good too.

The Sandwiches and Burgers menu creates a great deal of interest with very large portions of the Club Sandwich, Prime Rib Sandwich and the beef or chicken BBQ Sandwiches. Also famous at Carolina Roadhouse is The Killer Dog, a humongous foot long hot dog that starts with the grilled dog served on an extra long bun and topped with an enormous pile of French Fries that are loaded with homemade chili, cheese and onions. It is only the very rare appetite that can completely demolish this famous hot dog. Even something as simple as a Hamburger can stand out at Carolina Roadhouse with 10-ounces of meat and your choice of the American or Monster Burger. The American comes with traditional toppings while the Monster layers on the flavor with Cheddar and Jack cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, chili and bacon. Sounds delicious!

Seafood lovers will want to try the Carolina Flounder, Large Shrimp or Atlantic Oysters. They also have Combination Platters with your choice of two of these seafood options. The Seafood Platter offers some of everything and the Platter For Two is a huge mound of seafood that is more than plentiful for two people and maybe even three.

Some other items to be relished are the Roadhouse Chef Salad, pasta dishes, chicken strips, hush puppies and Shrimp Po-Boys. For dessert you cannot go wrong with the creamy Key Lime Pie, luscious Chocolate Cake or the tantalizing Apple Walnut Pie with ice cream.

Excellent staff and service that is not overbearing creates a pleasant mood for enjoying an outstanding meal. You might hear of the occasional complaint of less than stellar service with a restaurant this large, but the large majority consensus seems to be that the service is wonderfully courteous, friendly and extremely proficient.

The prices at Carolina Roadhouse are moderate and very reasonable for the quality and amount of food that is served. Portions are extremely generous. It’s not the best place if you’re going out for a romantic meal or maybe even for very small children. It’s a large restaurant that is busy with a great deal of activity and noise. But it makes for a great evening with family and friends with a fun atmosphere and fantastic food.

Get details for The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bar near Myrtle Beach, SC. See this restaurant is one of the best places to eat in the Myrtle Beach area.

For those looking for just the right spot for a romantic dinner out or a special evening with friends and exceptional food, The Brentwood Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC will be a choice you’ll be glad you made. Though it is a little out of the way for those staying in Myrtle Beach, it is well worth the trip. It’s actually in Little River, about seven miles northeast of North Myrtle Beach and only one block off Highway 17. The soft lighting and subtle background music here provides a welcome respite from the crowds and noise of the tourist scene.

This restaurant near Myrtle Beach, with a strong French influence, is situated in a stunningly restored 1910 Victorian home that creates a picturesque atmosphere for a relaxed and serene dining experience. The Brentwood is owned by Chef Eric Masson and his wife Kim, who moved from New York to take over the restaurant from its retiring previous owners. Chef Eric is a native of France with three culinary degrees. He is accompanied by Assistant Chef Danny Smith who has also received training by a French Chef. The wonderful combination of these two talented and creative culinary experts serves to provide an emphasis on fresh, healthy and local dishes with a distinct French twist.

There are several methods of choosing your meal at The Brentwood Restaurant. First is the A la Carte Dinner Menu. Begin the culinary adventure with Hors D’Oeuvres of Escargot, She Crab Soup, Shrimp and Grits or Maine Lobster Risotto. An entree of Salmon, Crab Cake, Pan seared Sea Scallops or Lobster Tail are all superb choices. Those who prefer a more dense meat will enjoy the sumptuous Filet Au Poivre with a peppercorn crust, Veal Chop, Pork Osso Bucco, Roasted Rack of Lamb, Prime Rib or Chicken Brentwood. You must read the descriptions of these dishes to truly appreciate their intricacies. For example, the Crab On Crab is a “pan seared soft shell crab served on top of a tender homemade crab cake with a spicy southern chili Aioli and sweet corn tomato salsa.” The Roasted Rack of Lamb is “oven roasted with sauteed baby spinach, roasted grapes, crispy rosemary polenta and a Pinot Noir reduction.”

The Dessert Menu has several extremely alluring homemade selections that include Caramel Flan with Lady Fingers, Crème Brulee and Key Lime Pie. The Cheesecake with toasted coconut, kiwi and mango sauce sounds awesome; as does the Blueberry Delice which is a blueberry bread pudding topped with blueberry sauce and whipped cream. The Fondant au Chocolat provides that special touch of dark chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. An Espresso, Cappuccino or Cordial would add a relaxing touch to the end of the evening.

Dinner at The Brentwood Restaurant can be very expensive with appetizers from $5 for the French Onion Gratinee to $12 for the St. Jacques Rockefeller with scallops. The dinner entrees range from $21 for the Liver and Onions with bacon to $39 for the veal and lobster. Desserts are about $6. Even though the prices are on the high side, the food and entire dining experience are superb and notable. There are, however, two less expensive options for eating at The Brentwood House that are both very appealing.

Le Menu Paris is an excellent and affordable way to enjoy a nice sampling of menu choices with a four course meal for only $29 per person. If you include wine selections with your Prix Fixe dinner, the combined price is $44. Begin the evening with your choice of soup that includes French Onion, Escargot Du Chef or the St. Jacques Pernod. The second course is the Salad Maison with the acclaimed Miso Vinaigrette. For the entree, guests will savor the Petit Filet, Salmon A L’Oseille or the Chicken Moutarde. Dessert will be Key Lime Pie or Fondant Au Chocolat. Those that indulge in the wine pairings will partake of a selection of three wines, two French and one Brentwood Private Label.

The Brentwood has an even less expensive option for dining with their Early Bird Dinner. It is reserved just for those who are willing to have their evening meal a little early during the less busy hours from 4:30 to 5:45 pm. At the price of $14.95 per person for a three course meal, that is an extremely enticing offer. This menu is a little lighter than the regular evening choices. It starts with the Chef’s Special Hor d’Oeuvres and the Brentwood Salad. The second course is an entree with items such as Little River Crab Cake served with Dijon mustard sauce and rice pilaf or the Salmon a l’Oseille of poached salmon with tarragon cream sauce and rice pilaf. The Apple Jack Pork Chop is grilled and served with a light apple bourbon sauce and Chef’s potato, while the Shrimp Alfredo has large shrimp and broccoli with garlic and a Parmesan cream sauce on top of angel hair pasta. The third and final course is Chef Eric’s Homemade Dessert of the Day. Early Bird Wine specials are also available by the bottle or glass.

The last menu style is more expensive and very appropriately described “It’s not a meal, it’s a journey.” That is how the restaurant describes The Chef’s Tasting Menu experience which includes a spectacular seven course meal at $65 per person with an optional wine pairing consisting of five wines at an additional $30 per person. It all starts with the Crispy Leeks, Golden Potato and Truffle Soup to tantalize the taste buds. Then come the appetizers of Foie Gras, Poached Plum Frisee and Brioche Toast. The Fish & Seafood third course begins to get serious with Pan Seared Scallops, Sweet Corn Risotto and Truffle Beurre Monte. Next, the Trou Normand gives time for pause as it cleanses and refreshes the palate with Watermelon and Midori Sorbet and Rosemary Tuiles. Take a deep breath and enjoy, we’re a little over half way through this spectacular meal. The hearty Meat and Game Course of French Rack of Spring Lamb, Tian Nicoise with Rosemary and Thyme Jus is beautifully served. The Artisan Cheese Plate is a nice way to begin winding down this unbelievable meal with Goat Cheese, Melon Chutney and Caramel Coated Pecans. Then comes the finale with a light dessert of Belgium Chocolate Souffle and Raspberry Sorbet. Those who participate in the wine pairing will receive an appropriate glass of wine with all courses except the soup and Trou Normand. Of course, you will need to call ahead to reserve this sumptuous feast and plan on taking out a bit of time from your evening to bask in the joy of fine French cuisine.

The Sunday Brunch menu is wondrously appetizing with offerings such as Steak & Eggs, Shrimp & Grits, Monte Cristo, Grand Marnier French Toast, Omelets, Eggs Benedict and Crab Benedict. Available sides include sausage, bacon, ham, cheese grits and toasted bagels.

Brentwood’s Happy Hour at the Wine Bistro is daily from 4:30-6:30 pm and offers half price appetizers and discounted beer, wine and martinis. Try the $1 delicious bite-size Crab Cakes! The Piano Bar is also found upstairs at the Wine Bistro with live jazz weekend evening entertainment that features singer and pianist George Devens who was a studio musician for some of the true greats like Frank Sinatra and Barbara Streisand. Take notice of the gorgeous chandelier on your way up the stairs.

You will most certainly want to make reservations for dinner at The Brentwood Restaurant as seating in this beautiful Victorian house is limited. For more intimate and quiet dining, ask to be seated in one of the smaller rooms rather than the larger open dining area that gets a little noisy as it fills up. More specific directions to this Little River location can be found on their website. They typically have a very nice printable coupon on their website that offers some great deals such as Buy One Entree and Get one ½ Price on Monday to Friday. That’s a great deal, so be sure to check that out before you go. The Brentwood Restaurant offers so much more than just dinner, it is a true dining experience with outstanding food, surroundings and service. Ask about the Tapas Bar and the ghost story connected with the beautiful old house.

Those visitors that are chefs at heart or just enjoy playing around in the kitchen will want to call ahead to reserve their spot in one of the inviting cooking classes at The Brentwood Restaurant. They fill up quickly on a first come basis. Plan ahead to ensure your place is saved for a class or two while you’re in town. Just send in your reservation with payment to guarantee a spot. If you have a group size of twelve or more that would like to take a class together, you can call or email Eric to get that set up. Some of the classes that have been taught are Soup & Stew, French Desserts, French Sauces, Holiday Cooking and French Techniques. Most of the classes will include instruction, techniques, history, food sampling, tricks of the trade and a recipe booklet to take with you. Typical cost per person is $45 per class.

Get info on one of the best delis and sports bars in Myrtle Beach - Dagwood's Deli & Sports Bar. See why this is considered one of the best places to eat in Myrtle Beach, SC.

There’s just nothing like a great sandwich piled high with your favorite fresh ingredients on delicious bread. And true to the famous comic strip persona, Dagwood’s of Myrtle Beach can stand up to the best when it comes to making a mile-high sandwich. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions more than adequate.

Dagwood’s in Myrtle Beach owes their success to the three goals they keep in mind everyday when they open their doors for business. They believe their first goal of conscientious and friendly service to their customers will keep them coming back. Their second goal of providing the ultimate freshness by baking their bread daily will provide the best in taste. Customer satisfaction is their final goal, as they know that a satisfied customer is the best advertisement they could ever have.

There are actually three separate dimensions to Dagwood’s these days. Their original location in Myrtle Beach is where it all started and still continues. Next door to Dagwood’s and following the same comic theme, is their popular Bumstead’s Pub. When the decision was made to expand into a second Dagwood’s, they kept the deli concept, but added a new twist to this one with a well received sports bar at Dagwood’s Deli & Sports Bar at Surfside Beach.

The original Dagwood’s located on 11th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach is a true favorite with locals and visitors looking for a great sandwich for lunch or dinner. Their menu begins with your basic sandwiches of turkey, roast beef, chicken salad, club and BLT along with a few others. The Jumbo Sandwiches get a little more interesting, not only for their catchy names, but also for their size and ingredients. The Shag is a nice combination of ham, turkey and Swiss cheese, while The Brooks Brother, also known as “Dagwood’s Favorite Cousin,” has ham, turkey, roast beef, Swiss and pepper jack cheeses. Serving sizes are huge and can often easily feed two. All sandwiches are made on their outstandingly freshly baked bread that in itself keeps customers coming back for more.

Dagwood’s Specialties offer some of the more popular choices at the deli. The French Dip, Chicken or Tuna Melt and the Blackened Mahi Sandwich sound absolutely delicious. The Northern is among the most delightful with hot and tender pastrami and corned beef piled high with coleslaw and thousand island dressing. Caribbean Jerk Chicken has grilled chicken with onions, banana peppers, Jerk seasonings and Provolone served with a homemade pineapple cilantro salsa. The Tiger is very tasteful as you bite into a six ounce grilled ribeye, lettuce, tomato and onions. And the French Dip is always a nice choice with the thinly sliced roast beef and Au Jus for dipping.

They have a great selection of Cheesesteaks with some delightful variations from the dependable Philly Cheesesteak to the Shrimp, Chicken and Veggie Phillys. The Chicken and Shrimp also come in Oriental styles with teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. If you prefer a nice salad for your meal, there’s always the House Salad that can be enjoyed as a side or make it a meal by adding chicken, steak, shrimp, tuna or mahi. Homemade chicken salad, tuna salad or chef salad are always good. The Antipasto Salad is good for something different with a lot of flavor. It contains pepperoni, salami, Provolone and Swiss cheeses, lettuce, tomato, red onion and banana peppers.

Dagwood’s rounds out the menu with burgers, baskets of shrimp, chicken or fish, and choices of hot sandwiches like a simple grilled cheese or hot pastrami, corned beef, meat ball and even four choices of tempting Reuben Sandwiches. The sandwiches are served with chips and a pickle spear. Burgers and baskets come with fries and cole slaw. Sides or appetizers can be ordered to go along with your meal. They include fries and onion rings, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, crabcake hushpuppies and breaded mushrooms. Dessert is simple with brownies or cookies. Dagwood’s is great on the appetite and the budget. Families, friends, adults and kids are all welcome to be a part of the Dagwood’s experience.

Bumstead’s Pub is the bar connected to Dagwood’s that has one of the best beer selections on the Grand Strand with over 150 brands of imported and domestics beers including bottled and tap. Enjoy watching your favorite sports team or just enjoying time with friends. Their menu is very similar to Dagwood’s Deli with a few choices that are designed just for Bumstead’s. They have a great Happy Hour in an English Pub atmosphere.

Just a drive down the Grand Strand from the original Dagwood’s is an area called Surfside Beach. That is where the newest location, Dagwood’s Deli and Sports Bar, can be found on Highway 17 North. Their menu is very much like the unbeatable original Dagwood’s menu, along with a Build Your Own Sandwich option that allows customers to create their sandwiches however they want. As a Sports Bar, they really stand out with in their efforts to please customers with a flat screen TV in every booth so everyone can watch the channel of their choice, control the volume as they choose or even turn it off to focus on the conversation and company. In fact, they have 59 of these televisions in the restaurant. The booths are nice and roomy with some of them designed to accommodate larger parties. Smaller kids will most likely want to share a meal with other family members since the portions are giant size. Added enjoyment comes with their two pool tables, darts and sports video games. They maintain the old pub environment with great service and fresh quality food along with a family friendly atmosphere and a no-smoking policy.

Be sure to see the coupons on each of their websites that offer specials similar to a free appetizer with the purchase of two large sandwiches or 10% off your meal. Definitely worth the time to print them out. Each of these establishments has its own special charm and attraction. Feel free to try them all to experience the great service along with fresh food and refreshing drinks.

On a final note, we’ll leave you with one last tempting picture for those with large appetites. The Famous Dagwood Burger – “Twelve Ounce Pure Beef Double Decker layered with Sauteed Mushrooms, Bacon, Provolone Cheese and Topped with Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Mustard, Mayonnaise and Ketchup” served with French Fries, Cole Slaw and Pickle Spear. And all that for just $8.95. Yum!

Get a review and info for Aspen Grille in Myrtle Beach, SC and see why this upscale restaurant offers one of the most romantic and best places to eat in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Aspen Grille in Myrtle Beach, SC is one of those prized locations that doesn’t look like much at all on the outside, but once you walk in, all that changes. The exterior of the restaurant is totally unimpressive as it sits at the end of a row of small shops in a strip mall. First time guests are very surprised once they step through the doors and see the candlelit tables with linen tablecloths, china, cloth napkins and glass stemware. This upscale dining opportunity has a romantic ambiance of warm dark wood, dim lighting and live music performed on a baby grand piano. Original artwork is displayed on the walls. Ask for an intimate table for a quiet sentimental dinner or a larger area for a group of friends. Aspen Grille in Myrtle Beach, SC is great for anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions.

The owner and Chef Curry Martin received his culinary training at Johnson & Wales University based out of Providence, Rhode Island. He has experience in both the restaurant and wine industries in Napa Valley, North Carolina and France. Chef Martin produces some special creations each evening that sway from the regular menu for customers who appreciate exceptional dining. Aspen Grille has a commitment to quality, great service and a relaxing atmosphere all combined to provide a memorable and superb culinary exposure.

Appetizers use the simple to create tantalizing treats with choices like the Fried Green Tomatoes with crab meat, pancetta and Bearnaise sauce. They also serve fresh raw or fried oysters, Shrimp & Grits, Escargo, Seared Yellow Fin Tuna and Calamari. Savor the Crab and Corn Chowder or French Onion Soup or choose a salad of fresh greens, baby spinach, Classic Caesar or Beefsteak Tomato.

Entrees begin with exceptional steaks of Prime Filet, Prime Ribeye or Prime New York Strip. Veal Boca Chica is very tempting with veal, shrimp, sea scallops and a shallot cream sauce. Carolina Crab Cakes, Lobster & Shrimp Pasta, Atlantic Salmon and a Calabash Style Seafood Platter excite the palate with precise combinations of flavors. The fresh seafood is always a great choice. These creative dishes are accompanied by delectable items such as creamed spinach, lyonaisse potatoes, risotto, asparagus, roasted or mashed potatoes, savoy cabbage slaw and seasonal roasted vegetables. Entrees range from $19 for the Pan Roasted Chicken to $30 for the Filet. Additional sides are offered for $6 and include Grilled Mushrooms, Salted Jacket Potatoes, Stone Ground Grits and Fresh Cut Fries.

All menu options come highly recommended and the daily specials always add an extra touch of elegance. The Prime Ribeye is considered to be top-notch. As you can see, a meal at Aspen Grill can remain somewhat moderate in price or it can become quite expensive, it’s your choice. Make this a special outing and enjoy yourself with the food, service, atmosphere and company. Also, if you’re able to go before 5:30 ask if they still have their Early Bird Special Menu that offers specific meals at special prices.

Aspen Grille has an extensive wine list with selections from California, Italy, Germany, France, Australia and New Zealand. Wine by the glass is $6 to $15. Wine by the bottle ranges in price greatly according to quality and taste from $27 to $450 and everywhere in between.

For prime beef steaks that are melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection, fresh seafood that is out of this world tasty along with exceptional service, make your way to Aspen Grille in Myrtle Beach.

Get some incredible BBQ at Sticky Fingers Rib House in Myrtle Beach, SC. See why Sticky Fingers has great barbecue and is one of the best places to eat in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

No matter which end of the Grand Strand you choose to stay for your vacation, you’ll not be far away from Sticky Fingers Rib House in Myrtle Beach, SC. With one location in Myrtle Beach and another in North Myrtle, convenience should not be too much of an issue when looking for some of the best barbeque around. Though the rustic bluesy themed Sticky Fingers is a chain restaurant with eighteen locations throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida, it is not so wide spread that it has become a common place restaurant. Visitors to the Myrtle Beach area tend to look forward to coming to Sticky Fingers almost as much as they enjoy coming to the beach.

The staff at Sticky Fingers are wonderful and help to create the welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere where locals and visitors of Myrtle Beach come to feast on tasty BBQ in all shapes, styles and sizes. The lighter eaters will want to share a meal or plan to take home a doggie box since the portions are ample.

Starting with their Hickory Smoked Chicken Wings that are fantastic, to the Cheddar Fries loaded with three cheeses jalapenos, bacon, tomatoes and barbecue ranch dressing and the flavorful Sticky Potato Skins with barbecue pork or smoked chicken topped with cheese and barbeque sauce, the appetizers have quite a zing. The Appetizers Trio offers a sampling of the Chicken Wings, Potato Skins and Fried Onions. Salads can come as a side, a meal by themselves, or accompany an appetizer to make a light meal. Try the Crispy Chicken, Smokehouse Club or Chicken Caesar Salads. The Pick-A-Chick Salad lets you choose either grilled, barbecue or smoked chicken.

The most popular item on the menu at Sticky Fingers has got to be their Hickory Smoked Ribs. Over and over, guests mention how the tender meat just falls off the bone. The ribs can be ordered with a variety of sauces that include Memphis Style Wet or Dry, Habanero Hot, Carolina Sweet or Tennessee Whiskey. Half Slab or a Full Slab that hangs off the plate for only five dollars more, you choose which one best suits your appetite. You could also easily split a full slab between two people. For those who don’t have a favorite sauce or style, why not try the Sampler that serves a mixture of the four most popular rib styles. The Sampler can be ordered for one person or for ten dollars more, they’ll serve enough for two. Bottles of all the sauces are on the table if you need more. The dry rub ribs are great to eat as they are or use them to try out all the sauces. If you know you want the ribs but really want to try the pulled pork, wings or chicken too, they have that problem solved with the Barbecue Combos with two meat choices. Then the Trio lets you try the ribs, pulled pork and chicken all on one plate.

They also have several styles of excellent sandwiches. The Barbecue Pork is very famous, and the pulled or grilled chicken and the barbecue hamburger are great. Any of the sandwiches are great for lunch or you can order from the Lunch Specials Menu. With items like the Barbecue Ribs or the combos with ribs and chicken or wings, lunch is a great time to visit Sticky Fingers. They also have some nice smoked and grilled chicken choices.

Their Express Meals To Go serve 2-4 people depending on appetites and they come with cole slaw, baked beans and sauce. Make a meal with a pound of barbecue pork with buns and a whole smoked chicken, or choose a slab of ribs and the pulled pork sandwiches. You might decide on the ribs and chicken or you can’t go wrong with the two slabs of ribs.

And it’s just not right to eat great barbecue without the sides. Sticky Fingers has some great options with Baked Beans, Macaroni & Cheese, Fries, Cole Slaw, Cinnamon Apples and many others. The delicious Sweet Potato Casserole is to be slowly savored. The ribs and combos are served with two sides of your choice and the sandwiches come with seasoned fries and a pickle spear.

Hot corn muffins that come with the meal taste great and customers often order extras to take home. Let it be noted that the Tennessee Whiskey barbecue sauce is terrific. And the Peach Cobbler dessert, out of this world yummy. They also have Pecan Pie, Baked Apple Almond Crumb and Fudge Brownie Sundae.

You’ll find plenty barbecue restaurants along the Grand Strand, but Sticky Fingers Rib House is one of the very best. The food and service at Sticky Fingers are awesome and the prices are not bad either. Depending on what you order, two people can eat here easily for $25-$40. Be sure to check the local coupon books for Sticky Fingers discounts that will help out too. Service is quick and efficient even with large groups. The Myrtle Beach locations are said to be two of the best ones in the restaurant chain. Enjoy your meal and the great tastes while you’re there and take home a bottle or two of their special sauces to savor once you’re back home. They also make tasty gifts for family and friends. Call ahead for priority seating on those busy nights and savor the flavors of Sticky Fingers!
